The average enquiry price for Spanish properties has taken a dip according to Kyero’s data wizards, dropping from €294,000 in 2021 to €267,000 in 2024. This trend signals good news for budget-conscious buyers looking to make their Spanish property dreams a reality.
 

Top affordable provinces to buy property in Spain


The beguiling provinces of Granada and Tarragona have seen some of the biggest price drops offering home hunters the opportunity to snap up a bargain:

Picture yourself in your quintessentially Andalucian home, complete with Moorish inner courtyard and colourful tiles, and a sprawling garden filled with avocados, olives, and citrus fruits.


Granada province’s property prices have plummeted by a whopping 21.26%, with average asking prices now at €137,000. That's right – your own piece of this historic and culturally rich province could be more affordable than you ever imagined.

Girona: This beautiful Catalonian province has seen a 13.76% decrease, with average prices now at €326,000.


Alicante and Murcia: These popular coastal areas have seen slight decreases, making them even more attractive for sun-seekers.


On the flip side, some areas are seeing price increases, reflecting their enduring popularity:


Majorca: The island paradise has seen a 9.48% increase, with average prices now at €681,000.
Almeria: This up-and-coming province has seen a significant 20.93% increase, but still remains affordable at €156,000 on average.
